Thank you to the thousands of individuals and families that have adopted a homeless animal from our family. We greatly appreciate your compassion and dedication to society's forgotten animal companions. Because of you, we are able to continue to rescue, rehabilitate and re-adopt out many of the wonderful animals that you see throughout this website.

We have added this section to our site to allow you to read and share some of the happy tails that have occurred because of a perfect and sometimes not-so perfect match!

WALTER - DEC 2007
Walter is a wonderful loving dog. I am so happy that I adopted him. At first my other dog (Rosie) was quite jealous...but Walter persisted and continued to lay with her and on top of her. Now they get along great. My Husband and Son both fell in love with Walter...he gets so much attention. He will crawl up on your chest and get right in your face and give you kisses.  He loves to ride in the car and follow you around. We joke that he just needs him human companion. If we leave him he cries like a baby. He is not home by his self much thankfully with our hours someone is usually home.
Both my Husband and Son wanted to change his name, but I could not since my Granddaughter loved it. She went to get a Webkin and picked out the Chihuahua and named it Walter.

A happy ending for a Happy little Dog!

Suzie - December 2007

Dear foster mom.  I miss you but I am very happy in my forever home.  I get to play outside if I want but the door is always open for me to come inside.  I am a little afraid to go outside at night before bed so my new mom turns the light on and goes with me.  I really don't like the lease but I don't need it because I have almost an acre of fenced yard.  I might need it when I get to go for a walk on the beach.   I don't know why I get so many kisses and hugs, I must be special.

Love, LuLu, the puppy formerly known as Susie Q.

P.S.  LuLu was my new mom's mother's name.

Danny - December 2007

Danny is doing very well in his new home. I'm pretty sure he likes being the center of attention around here, and has done a LOT of exploring in the house. He's very curious about his new environment, and does love to run around, but also does his fair share of cuddling in the bed! We're so happy to have him here, and thank you again for taking such good care of him. He's an angel.

Very best (and Happy New Year!),

Caroline
